As you enter Hachiko through a wide, sleek doorway, the drying room and laundry room are to your left. The spacious master bedroom dominates this level further down the corridor with an ensuite bathroom and a separate modern Japanese WC.
A modern staircase leads you one floor below, where two guest bedrooms share a bathroom, and a separate modern Japanese WC.
On the top floor, the living and dining area stretches across and merges into the open-plan kitchen. It opens up into an outdoor balcony which runs the length of the living room.
Down a contemporary staircase, the lower level houses two bedrooms with split double beds, sharing a large bathroom with a bathtub. Each modern room is designed along minimalistic lines and has a large window for natural light. A Japanese WC is separately housed at the end of the corridor.
A secure drying room is located next to the entry, to keep your equipment and gear safe and dry. The laundry room next to it is useful for long stays. Further down the corridor, you’ll find the master bedroom with its ensuite bathroom, and a separate modern Japanese WC at the opposite end of the entrance.
The centrepiece of this premium chalet, the living and dining areas take over the entire top floor. Inviting as the room is, it does its part in paying homage to the awe-inspiring sight of Mount Yotei, majestic through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Here, the deeply cushioned L-shaped sofa is made more inviting with cushions that add a pop of colour.
In the centre of the room, a sleek wooden dining table comfortably seats six, allowing you to enjoy meals while looking out at the breathtaking Hokkaido scenery.
The dining area flows into the open-plan kitchen, separated by a breakfast bar with four stools. The kitchen is fully equipped to impress, with a large granite island, a delight for amateurs and budding master chefs alike.
Hachiko has three comfortable bedrooms located across the lower two levels. Like the rest of the villa, each bedroom is elegantly appointed in muted earth tones. The rooms all offer double beds which can be configured into twin beds if required. 42-inch Apple TVs adorn the walls of each bedroom, just in case you need to catch up on the latest episode of that must-watch series.
The master bedroom has complete privacy, located on the ground level with its own ensuite bathroom and shower.
Large windows on two sides flood the room with light and cupboards provide storage space so you can unpack and settle in.
The two guest bedrooms are located down the stairs from the master bedroom. Each of them has a large window and cupboards for storage.
The guest bedrooms share a spacious bathroom in muted grey tiles, with a bathtub to sink into at the end of a day spent exploring the treasures of Mount Annupuri. A separate shower area is useful when you’re short on time.
Comfortably sleeping six, Hachiko can also accommodate an extra child on a futon (available on request).
